This one day course aims to cover information important for the recognition, diagnosis and immediate management of children with inherited metabolic disease. The course is primarily for clinicians who, although not specialists in paediatric inherited metabolic disease, may be involved in the care of affected children and their families. It is of particular relevance to Paediatricians, Neurologists, Geneticists, Junior Doctors, Biochemists & Dietitians. Talks will be given by local Consultant Metabolic Paediatricians and specialist Dietitians; the programme will end with an interactive workshop.
