Advertising Policy
1.- Symposier do not publish advertisement in image (standard banners) from 3rd parties, such as Ad Networks, Google Adsense and others. The only standard banners on the site are related to Symposier's features or Symposier Connect (Sponsored Related Content)
2.- Sympoiser does publish 'SPONSORED RELATED CONTENT" which should be related to Sympoiser specialties, medical terms and topics and categories. ALL sponsored related content should be approved by Symposier's Medical team before published. We JUST allow sponsored content that ensures our users best experience, when they look for medical information
3. Symposier will not accept publish any SPONSORED RELATED CONTENT related to any of the following: alcohol, firearms, ammunition, fireworks, gambling, pornography, tobacco, or the simulation of news or an emergency event. Advertising also must not promote products that are illegal or whose distribution would violate the law, advocate a political, religious or controversial public position or candidate for public office, make health claims that are not adequately substantiated.
4. Symposier maintains a distinct separation between SPONSORED RELATED CONTENT and editorial content. All on Symposier sites shall be clearly and unambiguously identified as such, and Symposier will not accept any SPONSORED RELATED CONTENT on Symposier sites that is not so identified. Clicking on the link will link to a medical content site. Symposier is not responsible for the content on the sponsors site.
5. From time to time, Symposier may create special sponsored sections of its websites, consisting of content from its sponsors. Content that is created, provided or influenced by a sponsor on any Symposier site is clearly and unambiguously identified as "From Our Sponsor" or "Provided By" the sponsor. Such sponsored content is not subject to editorial review by Symposier. Any content in these areas that Symposier provides is clearly identified as such and is created and editorially reviewed by Symposier and is not reviewed or influenced by advertisers.
6. Symposier reserves the right to reject, cancel, or remove at any time any Sponsoring from the Symposier Site for any reason and will provide prompt notice to the advertiser upon rejection, cancellation, or removal of any Sponsor. Symposier also reserves the right to determine the appropriate placement of the Sponsor on the Symposier sites.
7. It is the responsibility of the Sponsor to comply with all applicable domestic and foreign laws, including pharmaceutical advertising that must be in compliance with FDA guidelines for Direct to Physician (DTP) and Direct to Consumer (DTC) advertising as well as underwritten CME programs that must be labeled in accordance with the guidelines of the Accrediting Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and any other relevant accrediting bodies. Symposier assumes no obligation to monitor its advertisers' compliance with applicable laws and regulations; however, if Symposier becomes aware of any breach or potential breach of any applicable law or regulation or of these guidelines, Symposier may remove the Sponsored Content.
8. No Advertising shall be permitted which may injure the good name or reputation of Symposier or Symposier sites. Symposier has sole discretion with respect to interpretation of this policy and all other issues associated with Advertising on Symposier Web sites. Symposier may change this policy at any time in its sole discretion. If Symposier makes changes to this policy, the updates will be posted here. This policy's effective date will be identified at the top of the page.
